Bush Regeneration Works
Our exceptional Bush crew is a team comprising of individuals equipped with either a Certificate 3 in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or a degree in Environmental Science. Their boundless enthusiasm, unwavering passion, and diligent work ethic infuse vitality into every project. With extensive expertise in restoration works, they adeptly operate specialized machinery, execute diverse weed control measures, demonstrate proficiency in plant identification, select optimal plant species tailored to each site, and can assess the ecological condition of varying ecosystems.
Holistic Weed management
Our environmental management services include integrated weed management plans to control the growth and spread of invasive plants. This includes expertise in wide range of natural, mechanical, and chemical control methods including introducing competition with native plantings, compost, slashing, mowing, controlled burns, and application of chemicals. We employ trained professionals who are experienced in identifying and targeting specific weeds, using environmentally friendly methods to minimize the impact on native flora and fauna. Our team also have extensive experience in managing weeds within threatened ecosystems including Natural Temperate Grasslands and Box Gum Grassy Woodlands.
Environmental reporting and monitoring
Our team are familiar with planning and reporting requirements under the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act and regularly develop Review of Environmental Factor reports. We also understand the importance of regular monitoring and maintenance to sustain the effectiveness of restoration works and weed management. Our team designs rigorous monitoring plans, outlining key objectives and criteria to assess each project and adjust with evolving issues or changes
Environmental and Carbon Markets
Our team are currently working with several Local Aboriginal Land Councils to help their participation in environmental and carbon markets. This includes conducting feasibility studies, delivering training and educational programs, liaising with key involved partners, organising registration into markets, facilitating sale of credits, developing management plans that are compliant with relevant legislation, and helping to implement management plans. We also regularly collaborate with accredited BAM assessors to ensure Indigenous communities are included at every step.
